Sonja started Archertec Interiors in 1999 and over the years has worked on a diverse range of projects gaining a wealth of experience from projects as large as casinos, hotels and resorts, to multi-unit developments, shopping centres and workplace design, right through to the small-scale retail fit outs, hospitality and boutique office design.
Sonja has a passion for residential architecture, with a Finnish Norwegian heritage and growing up with European family influences, Sonja often draws inspiration from her overseas connections and regularly sources ideas and beautiful design options from international suppliers. Sonja loves to travel and explore new ideas and colour combinations, keeping on top of current trends and design technology.
Sonja has an eye for concept development, high quality detailing and materiality. Technically astute Sonja is able to apply her expertise to develop award winning project outcomes which meet her clients personal and business aspirations.
Winning awards locally, nationally and internationally since 2002. Sonja is continually recognised for her work and contribution to the industry.
Sonja is passionate about building design and wants people to enjoy the process of creating great interior spaces and well-built homes.
